I was craving Co-op so bad I bought resistance 2 collectors edition, played through the Single player to build up my anticipation for the co-op. I played it for 20 minutes of pure frustration and absolute randomness. Start in chicago, fail and end up some other place. How absurd. I was so mad at the implementation of co-op i literally went out after and bought gears of war and a 360. It is the only game i have for it and it is no longer played, my poor 360 is just collecting dust again unt...

should have left the split screen offline co-op, that was part of the actual story. That was my only major problem with the game. The parallel co-op story with no check points, and once you die it whisks you off to another random part of the "story".

There were 3 full rows at my local future shop, all the ones with the beanies are gone, so just the other ones left to sell. I must say it is an awesome game, the online is good, right on par with COd4.

Yeah once i got a feel for the controls it was an awesome experience. My one gripe, is that when in cover the gun looks like pixelated junk.
Fifty other people have experienced this problem!! That is astonishing. If you go to your local future shop/best buy/ Eb games, i guarantee you can find at least 3 people who have replaced their 360 more than twice!!
considering the amount of DVD players in peoples homes and only 11.7 million sold I would say that bluray is fairing quite well. there has to be 300 million DVD players sold world wide (i am shooting extremely low because i cant find the figures) so 11.7 million is not better percentage wise than bluray with 1.7 million.

I have seen inside the worm as i have played through the game 3 times so far. I have only played through MGS4 once but am on my 2nd. to be brutally honest the nod has to go to MGS4. The worm level is awesome, but look at the trees in the centaur level, they are flat and look terrible, for overall graphics throughout the entire game graphics go to MGS4. Have you ever looked at the debris in any of the stairwells???...it all looks flat and has pitiful textures.

Gears Coop is far superior for local play. For online Resistance hands down. The lack of a checkpoint system in resistance 2 offline coop, is very frustrating, so i prefer Gears 2 offline.

I love the single player campaign. the Coop is abstract and follows no conventional story. I hate how during the offline coop that you never restart the same mission after both players die. well I am going to get a 360. I have a ps3 and love it to death but the fun factor of a real coop game, is to alluring. resistance 2 has a pathetic coop, and has made me want a true coop experience. Most of my friends are getting 360's just for this game, and we are all devout PlayStation loyalists.

but I must say that the offline is disappointing. We should be able to play through the game in coop just like the first RFOM. The graphics in this game are wicked, the textures are good, in most places, and the action is steady. I would recommend it to any fps fan with a ps3, the collectors edition is pretty sweet, i love the box art.
I played Gladius for 10hrs straight, then slept for like 2-3 hrs and played for another 14hrs. I loved that game.
